Leadership
- Shaun T. Olsson serves as President of Northern States Agency and Sr. Vice President of Ringwalt & Liesche/Pacific Gateway. Prior to joining the group in 2009, he worked for Universal Underwriters/Zurich as Regional Sales Manager in Denver, and as an Account Executive in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he began his insurance career.
- In his spare time, Shaun enjoys playing golf, hanging out with his wife and two daughters, and rooting for the Oklahoma Sooners. In addition, he has been active in a variety of faith-based and industry related organizations in the communities in which he has lived, including the MN CPCU Society and the MN Valley Young Life Boards.
- Shaun holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tulsa and has earned the CPCU designation. He also has served as an adjunct professor in the Collins College of Business at the University of Tulsa and has attended the NAPSLO Executive Leadership School at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.

- Originally started with National Indemnity Company fresh out of high school at the age of 17. Loree worked in several different areas at NICO prior to transferring to R&L in 1996. She has now been with the group over 40 years, and currently serves as Vice President.
- Loree enjoys gardening, canning, cooking, and trying new wines.
- She also enjoys spending time with her kids and grandkids anytime she can.
- Loree is a big sports fan and loves her Nebraska Cornhuskers.
- From Cherokee, IA.
- Obtained a bachelor's in business management with a minor in legal studies at Morningside College in Sioux City, IA prior to starting with the company in 2014.
- Obtained Associate in Commercial Underwriting Management and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designations.
- Enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, training dogs, hunting, fishing, gardening, and anything else outdoors.

- He worked in the banking areas of finance, accounting, and operations before becoming the Controller for Northern States Agency in 2006. In 2012 he assumed the same duties as Controller for Ringwalt & Liesche.

- Originally from Omaha, NE.
- Emily attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha for her undergrad where she earned her degree in Mathematics. She later received her MBA from Creighton.
- Emily started working for National Indemnity Company in 2013 and joined R&L in 2021.
- In her free time, you can find Emily working out, traveling, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
- One of her bucket list items is to visit all 7 continents, and she has been to 5 so far.
- Originally from Dunning, Nebraska.
- Taylor earned her BBA in Marketing from the University of South Dakota in 2021. She obtained her Master of Business Administration in 2022.
- She began working with Ringwalt & Liesche in March of 2023. Prior to that, she worked as a graduate assistant during her masters program and had a marketing internship with PREMIER Bankcard in Sioux Falls, SD.
- Taylor and her husband, Raymond, enjoy taking their dog on hikes, hanging out with friends, and baking all types of bread.
Underwriting

- Rick has been married to his best friend, Susie, for over 40 years.
- Earned his bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in management and organizational behavior at University of Nebraska, Omaha., in addition to completing the Associate in Commercial Underwriting - Management designation.
- Prior to joining the company in 2001, Rick worked in both accounting and human resources with a food company and aerospace company.
- Previously lived in Seattle, WA for nine years and still spends a lot of time in that area each year.
- Rick enjoys bicycling, hiking, and spending time with his grandkids.
- From Dupo, IL and currently lives in Waterloo, IL.
- Previously worked in banking before starting in the insurance industry.
- Has worked for R&L and its affiliated companies for over 40 years.
- Gina and her husband have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
- Grew up in the Omaha area.
- He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Nebraska Omaha prior to joining the company in 2021.
- In his free time, Jared enjoys watching and going to NASCAR races. His favorite driver is #48 Alex Bowman. He also enjoys playing board games with his friends and family, of which he owns over 100 board games.
- Becca is from Washington but spent most of her life in Nebraska. She moved frequently with her parents who were in the Air Force.
- Spent time attending both the University of Nebraska Omaha and the University of Nebraska Kearney studying psychology and criminal justice. Prior to joining the company in 2014, Becca worked as an administrative assistant at Boys Town.
- Becca enjoys spending time with her husband, her stepson, foster son, and their 14-year old Japeke named Freckles.
- From Mauschbach, Germany, a town of 300 people, which is located within walking distance from the French border.
- She has worked in the insurance field for 35 years, half of that time at Ringwalt & Liesche.
- Hilda speaks English, German and Haitian Kreyol.
- Her hobbies include cooking, reading, listening to podcasts and enjoying the outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her Westie Terrier dog Pippa.
- From Lincoln & Omaha, NE.
- Alyse obtained her bachelor’s degree in the division of continuing studies with a focus in business and English from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
- She enjoys movies, video games, art and traveling. Some of her favorite vacations have been swimming with dolphins in Hawaii and rock climbing in Colorado.
- Alyse also loves taking care of animals and spending her free time volunteering at the local humane society.
- Originally from Southern California, Kaitlyn moved to Omaha at a young age.
- Studied Dental Hygiene at Iowa Western but decided to switch paths and built a freelance photography business.
- Her career in the insurance industry began in 2019 and she joined R&L in 2022.
- In her free time Kaitlyn enjoys camping, hiking, paddle boarding and visiting local breweries. She has a wiener dog named Dunkel and three cats, Zeppelin, Floyd and Elvira.

- He began working with Ringwalt & Liesche in September of 2024. Prior to that, he has interned at Premium Property Trust as a marketing intern and at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a management intern.
- Sean enjoys adventurous activities such as snowboarding, traveling, hiking, and camping. He also loves to lift weights and try new foods.

- Earned his bachelor's degree in risk management & insurance and business administration from Ball State University.
- He worked for five years at AssuredPartners before starting with R&L in 2017.
- Jake enjoys running, cycling, and hiking during the summer and snowboarding during the winter. He is also a big San Francisco 49ers fan and enjoys playing the board game Settlers of Catan.

- Rick has been married to his best friend, Susie, for over 40 years.

- Scott is a board game aficionado and self-proclaimed nerd. He also enjoys video games and all things sci-fi and fantasy.
- Grew up in the Omaha area.

His parents moved to Orlando, FL for retirement and he’s looking forward to visiting them during the winters to escape the cold of Colorado.
- Grew up in Southern California.
- Charles earned his B.A. in Mathematics from Emory University. In addition, he also took several classes in music, Greek, and physics.
- Started with the company in 2023.
- Charles loves to sing and has earned multiple singing awards throughout high school and college. He also enjoys scuba diving, bowling, reading, writing, swimming, hiking, studying languages/math/physics, and learning new skills.
- Born and raised in Omaha, NE.
- Lori has been in the insurance industry for over 35 years, working at retail agencies, wholesale brokers and MGA's. Lori joined R&L in 2013.
- Lori enjoys watching sports and is a big fan of all the University of Nebraska Omaha athletic teams. She is also a Jimmy Buffett fan, having seen him in concert over 25 times. Lori loves traveling and some of her vacation spots have included England, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Belize, Germany, and Croatia.
